| WHAT YOU WILL NEED |
I used gabardine for the red and ochre version (see tutorial) and it's fine but stay away from too stiff a fabric to avoid bulging at the lower belly.

• Main fabric: woven, non stretchy fabric like a lightweight gabardine. A flowy fabric will look classy: wool suiting, crepe, taffetas. 
• Lining: any lightweight woven cotton.
• Some lightweight fusible interfacing for the welt pockets
• Zipper: 18 cm/7 in long
• Button: 2 cm/0.8" of diameter
